• Perform management functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluation, and payroll approvals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory codes.
• Maintain the highest level of building and grounds appearance through continuous inspections and corrective actions.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure their implementation.
• Carry out proactive inspections of the resort, both interior and exterior, to identify and resolve issues.
• Routinely inspect and document, on a monthly basis, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and other facility systems to ensure proper functioning and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to guest needs, cleaning or grounds‑keeping issues, maintenance requests, and other maintenance needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide leadership and develop a high‑performing, service‑first mentality in all staff.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities to ensure the highest quality of work is completed to Tin Lizzie’s standards.
• Allocate workload and supervise maintenance and janitorial staff.
• Monitor equipment inventory and hotel back stock.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Utilize company software to keep maintenance logs, R&M schedules, employee productivity, and reports on daily activities and accomplishments.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

• Proven experience as a maintenance manager or related leadership role.
• Experience planning and executing maintenance operations.
• Solid understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC, and related technical aspects.
• Knowledge of facilities tools, machines, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Ability to track and report activity in company software.
• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and service‑first approach.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with company software such as Quore, Microsoft Office (MS Teams required), and effective internet search skills.
