Keeps premises of concession building, dormitory, or other assigned buildings in clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining various buildings and employee housing.
  • Assist on various work orders that include, but are not limited to:
    • Interior and exterior painting
    • Unclogging drains and troubleshooting other plumbing issues
    • Replacing air filters and conducting routine inspections of HVAC related systems
    • Changing light bulbs
    • Troubleshooting vacuums and repairing if necessary
    • Hang items on the wall
    • Patch holes on the walls
    • Complete caulking projects
  • Notify Maintenance Manager of need for larger repairs or service or if it relates to electrical and HVAC.
  • Assist with various setup and tear down, which includes moving tables, chairs, etc.
  • During the peak season assist with power washing outdoor assigned areas.
  • During the off season assist with snow and ice removal from walkways and parking areas.
  • During the off season may be assigned to clean the public spaces, including restrooms, patio, and dining room.
  • Restock various bathroom supplies and notify manager when reorder may be needed.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Transport tools and other items from storage to different departments.
  • Assist with fleet vehicle maintenance.
  • Follow company and departmental environmental and safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years previous building maintenance or handyman experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to troubleshoot small mechanical items, such as vacuum, and think critically.
  • Ability to unclog drains and toilets.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Willing to "pitch‑in" and help the team with tasks.
  • Must be a positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun and has the passion to work.
Physical Requirements
  • Constantly stand, and walk.
  • Frequently handling, reaching outward, reaching above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat/kneel, bend, lifting/carrying 10‑50 pounds, and pushing/pulling 12‑40 pounds.
  • Occasionally lifting/carrying 51‑100 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 41‑100 pounds.
