The Facility & Grounds Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of Coffee Cup Travel Plaza facilities and surrounding property. This position performs preventative maintenance, minor repairs, groundskeeping, custodial duties, and exterior property maintenance while helping ensure an exceptional experience for every guest.

This position works throughout the travel plaza, truck service center, parking areas, landscaping, dog park, and other company property. Team members should enjoy working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons and be comfortable performing a wide variety of maintenance, groundskeeping, and cleaning responsibilities.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility.
• Complete basic electrical repairs including replacing switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, ballasts, cords, and similar components.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs including unclogging drains, repairing faucets, replacing fixtures, and addressing minor leaks.
• Repair and maintain doors, shelving, fixtures, equipment, and other building components.
• Assist with pump and fuel equipment maintenance when appropriate.
• Order maintenance parts and maintain maintenance records as needed.

• Maintain a clean, attractive, and safe exterior property.
• Pick up trash throughout parking lots, sidewalks, fuel islands, landscaping, and surrounding grounds.
• Maintain the front entrance and exterior appearance of the travel plaza.
• Maintain the company dog park, including emptying waste stations, cleaning the area, and ensuring a welcoming appearance for guests.
