Key Responsibilities & Requirements for this position- Moving materials from manufacturing lines or storage locations to other WIP assigned areas.
- Daily completion of lift truck check sheets.
- Remove, collect, and properly dispose of shipping materials including pallets, and cardboard.
- Prepare, strap, and package finished goods and work in progress as needed.
- Maintaining a neat and orderly workspace.
- Safely complete other assigned duties as needed.
- Must have the ability to perform reading, writing, and basic math.
- Must be able to operate a lift truck once trained.
- Must be able to mount and dismount lift trucks.
- Must have adequate depth perception.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must comply with all required OSHA, SAFE, and plant specific rules and regulations.
- Experience operating powered industrial tools and machinery preferred, but not required.
