Job Description:
This is a seasonal position expected to run through October, supporting increased production demand during our busy season.
Friday – Sunday, 12‑hour shifts 7:00am – 7:00pm. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40.
Position SummaryThe Seasonal Weekend Shift Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently to manufacture grain bin components that meet company quality standards. This role supports production operations during our peak season and plays an important part in helping us meet customer demand.
Essential Responsibilities- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established procedures
- Set up and adjust equipment as needed to meet production requirements
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and follow work orders and production schedules
- Record production information accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with material handling and movement of products as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Commitment to quality, safety, and attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and twisting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Work only 3 days per week
- Get paid for 40 hours while working 36
