Heavy Duty Lift Truck Operator

Marmen Inc., a global leader in high-precision manufacturing for wind power and heavy industry, is seeking a Heavy Duty Lift Truck Operator for its manufacturing operations. In this role, you will safely operate large-capacity lift trucks to move oversized components, support production lines, and load/unload materials for machining, fabrication, and assembly. You'll perform pre-operational inspections, follow strict safety procedures, and coordinate with production and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy duty lift trucks to move large and heavy components safely.
• Load and unload materials for machining, fabrication, and assembly operations.
• Follow all safety procedures, signage, and plant rules at all times.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance checks on lift trucks.
• Read and follow work orders, tags, and instructions for material movement.
• Coordinate movements with production, shipping, and receiving teams.
• Secure loads properly using appropriate attachments and handling methods.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and material storage zones.
• Report equipment issues, near-misses, and safety concerns promptly.
• Support training and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
