Cheese Packager

Agropur is seeking a Cheese Packager to support our high-volume cheese manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will operate and monitor packaging equipment, inspect cheese for correct weight, appearance, and labeling, and ensure all products meet strict quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning packaging lines, recording production data, palletizing finished goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in accordance with GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate cheese packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect cheese for quality, weight, and correct labeling
• Set up, adjust, and clean packaging machines and tools
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards
• Record production data and report issues to supervisors
• Palletize, wrap, and stage finished product for storage or shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following sanitation procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
• Follow all safety rules and use required PPEAssist with basic troubleshooting and line changeovers
