This position is located in Brandon, South Dakota

$18 - $23 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Monday
- Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, some Friday hours may be required

  • Summary/Objective:

    This position will be responsible for assisting in the powder coating/paint process. The Powder Line Associate will work in an assembly-line environment where product unhangs from the line, powder coated, oven-baked, and conveyed to a packaging station. This person will then aid in packaging finished goods. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to read blueprints and communicate with co-workers
  • Ability to set up, run, and operate machinery
  • Counting is required to maintain accurate tracking system
  • Must report any equipment issues to department Lead
  • Will be required to do periodic quality checks
  • Equipment used on the job includes racking fixtures, hooks, bins and pallet jacks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Maintain clean and organized work space
  • Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments
  • Competencies:
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals;
  • Must demonstrate clear communication skills;
  • Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders and measurements;
  • Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects;
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision;
  • Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary;
  • Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including pallet jacks, tape measures, etc.;
  • Must possess successful problem-solving skills;
  • Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, etc.;
  • Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.
  • Supervisory Responsibility:

    This role does not have supervisory experience upon hiring.
