Thunder Valley CDC Youth Activities VISTA
The Youth Leadership Program will help support and implement youth activities for Thunder Valley CDC. TVCDC is a non-profit centrally located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and provides local, grassroots, culturally-based programming to the youth in that area of that reservation. This program will continue to develop organizational, and leaderships skills by youth on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Thus, allowing youth to prepare to make positive choice and experience success.
MemberDuties :
Participate in local, on site orientation process to learn more about Thunder Valley CDC, the Pine Ridge Promise Zone, and the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Oglala Lakota History. Identify potential future training needs specific to the assignment. The Youth Leadership VISTA will build capacity with the Youth Leadership Program by planning, implementing and documenting youth activities and events for the year.
The Youth Leadership VISTA will collect data and submit information for Grant Activities.
