    Eligible for a $10,000 Sign‑on Bonus!

  • Additional $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 pm – 6:00 am).
Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to residents during scheduled work hours in long‑term care. The NA provides resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include age‑appropriate care of physical and psychological needs, infection prevention and control, personal protective equipment use, basic health‑care tasks (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, vital‑signs monitoring, psychosocial support), transfer and mobility assistance, range‑of‑motion exercises, food preparation, dining service, housekeeping, laundry support, wellness and recreation program facilitation, and participation in departmental committees.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or GED (preferred, not required).
  • Minimum age 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required; must be obtained within four months of start or be enrolled in a recognized training program.
  • CNA training and certification provided by the facility.
  • Yearly department‑specific competency testing completed and continuing education credits maintained (minimum 12 hours annually).
  • Required certifications maintained on file.
  • Certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry if applicable to state regulations.
  • May require a Sanford Category II driver license and medical clearance for essential driving functions.
