Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care (LTC)
= Location: Milbank, South Dakota
< Facility Type: Long-Term Care / Nursing Home
= Employment Type: Contract / Travel
= Contract Duration: 6 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (12 Hours)
=R Schedule: Variable Days
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care facility in Milbank, SD. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while supporting residents' overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Active RN license in South Dakota (or compact state)
- Minimum 1–2 years of LTC experience preferred
- BLS Certification (required)
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
