Travel RN Long-Term Care​/SNF

Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel RN for Long Term Care in Miller, South Dakota.

• 4‑week assignment

• 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts)

• Travel nursing position

• Assist with formulating a plan of care for residents.
• Provide nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations.
• Update the plan of care as needed.
• Observe and document resident conditions and care given.
• Use the EMR accurately.
• Notify physicians and process orders promptly.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Direct and assist with resident, family, and significant‑other education.
• Handle linens properly and dispose of soiled linens, clothing, or supplies in adherence to regulations.
• Use standard precautions, personal protective equipment, and observe transmission guidelines.
• Wash hands between resident cares.
• Report and ensure timely follow‑up of signs or symptoms of resident infections.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from a recognized provider.
• Prior work experience in long term care preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic effects and side effects of medications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ready to work in a moderate noise environment and accommodate travel.
