RN Nurse, Staff Nurse
Position
UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs - Oncology Patient Care Unit.
ScheduleFull Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Onsite role only.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program if less than 3 years experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months RN experience.
- ONS certification: 6 months for new hires, 1 year for new grads.
- BLS:
American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer. Card must be valid at start and through 60 days of hire.
- Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Utilize multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
- Precept and mentor newcomers to healthcare and UCHealth.
- Contribute to secure safety and quality at point of care in acute care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high acuity.
- Support clinical educators and complete competency validation during orientation.
