Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department

Job Overview

Med Pro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Martin, South Dakota. The assignment begins ASAP and lasts 13 weeks, with 12‑hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week.

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications may be required.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.

• Provide care for patients with a variety of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to urgent treatment and care.
• Understand triage and prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
