Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate 36 hours per week - 12 hour shifts Every other weekend and holiday.
Unit Notes:
* Location will take local candidates. Radius is 80 miles or less to be considered local. Bill rate will be $8 less for locals.
* MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.
* All clinicians must badge in and out at facility2 years RN experience

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Med Surg and ER Nursing
2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)Sanford One Charge, Pixis, 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients.
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so, how often Are weekends required) 36 hours per week - 12 hour shifts
Every other weekend and holiday.
3 Call Shifts Required in a 13 week contract
6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments)
Will float between ER and Med Surg
7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
258. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
For Med/Surg - typicaly 3 to 4 to one - depending on census and acuity
9. Dress Code:
Sanford Dress Code. Navy Scrubs, no logos, white can be worn under uniform or white lab coat
10. Training:
EPIC Computer training, 1 day of ER training, and 1 day of Med Surg Training Cancellation Policy:
Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:
