Contract Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity – Outpatient Clinic
Location:
Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center
Contract Duration:
September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2030
Shifts:
Rotating 8- or 12-hour weekday shifts, with 4-hour weekend shifts
On-Call/Standby:
Not required
Contract Structure
- Base Period: 6 months (September 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026)
- Optional Extensions:
Up to nine (9) additional 6-month option periods (total of 5 years)
Open Positions:
Three (3) Registered Nurses for outpatient clinic services
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate outpatient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments, including IVs, oral medications, and injections
- Operate basic clinical equipment such as EKG machines, blood pressure monitors, and glucometers
- Educate patients and families on preventive health and rehabilitation practices
- Accurately document all care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals
- Deliver professional, respectful, and culturally competent patient care
- Assist with phone calls and appointment scheduling as needed
Facility Schedule
- Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Weekends: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Shifts are assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee and may vary based on facility needs
Minimum Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least one (1) year of RN experience
- Compliance with all health and immunization requirements prior to start, including: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Tdap
- All medical documentation must be submitted before contract start date
