Active South Dakota or Compact RN license required Minimum 3 years of recent Director of Nursing (DON) experience REQUIRED Minimum 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility Current BLS/CPR certification required Nursing degree from an accredited college or university required Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations, policies, and compliance requirements Experience overseeing Nursing Services operations, staffing, admissions, resident care, and nursing personnel performance Experience with QAPI/facility assessment activities and interdisciplinary committees preferred Strong leadership, communication, staff management, and problem-solving skills
