Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel contract in Canistota, SD. This role focuses on long-term care within a post-acute setting, providing care to an elder population, including individuals with dementia and certain behavioral conditions. This position involves 12-hour block scheduling with a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide nursing care to elderly patients, including those with dementia and behavioral conditions
• Administer medications and assist with daily living activities
• Complete skilled charting and COVID-related documentation primarily during day shifts
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
• Utilize Point Click Care (PCC) EMR for all charting tasks

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Valid LPN/LVN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred
