American Traveler is seeking an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.
Requirements- Active LPN license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BLS certification required
- Point Click Care (PCC) EMR experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
- Long-term care/skilled nursing facility with 42 beds
- Patient population includes long-term care, memory care, dementia, and orthopedic cases with no current behavioral risks
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2 nurses during days/evenings and 1 nurse overnight
- Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting system
- Shifts include Day (6a-2p/6a-6p) and Evening (2p-10p), a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts
- Requires every other weekend and every other holiday coverage
- 36 guaranteed hours per week with overtime availability
- Provide nursing care in a post-acute, long-term care setting
- Location-specific orientation covering building layout and lift equipment, approximately 2-4 hours
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- 80-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
