Seeking a Quality Inspector to support manufacturing quality across all phases of production. This role focuses on ensuring structures are built to established quality standards, with added emphasis on concrete and casting activities. Most of the work takes place on the production floor, performing inspections, monitoring processes, and completing final inspections before release.
The Quality Inspector identifies issues early, coordinates corrections, and reports recurring quality concerns to management. This role also includes light administrative and documentation duties related to quality records and warranties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine quality inspections throughout the production process
- Verify work is completed according to approved procedures and quality standards
- Conduct defined inspections at key production stages, including concrete/casting activities
- Identify, document, and communicate nonconformities
- Coordinate repairs or corrections before work progresses
- Perform final inspections on completed structures and develop punch lists
- Report recurring quality issues to management
- Photos
- Test reports (as applicable)
- Quality and warranty documentation
- Compile Quality and Warranty Binders
- Support additional quality documentation and recordkeeping as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of manufacturing or construction processes
- Familiarity with concrete and casting fundamentals preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Professional, solution-focused approach to inspections and feedback
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing, construction, or concrete-related experience preferred
- Willingness to learn new software systems (e.g., Fishbowl, Smartsheet)
