Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Cashier, Retail Sales, Customer Service Rep
Overview
The primary focus of this position is to provide exceptional guest service by operating a cash register and assisting guests with a "Say Yes to the Guest" attitude. This individual is responsible for scanning, ringing, and/or entering customer merchandise into the cash register, collecting customer payment and delivering appropriate change, bagging, and assisting customers with questions or concerns.
As a cashier on our team, you can expect to:
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, collect money, checks, electronic payments, and coupons from guests, make correct change and assure the security of the cash drawer at all times.
- Scan or ring items accurately and efficiently. Identify and key in department numbers, produce items, UPC numbers, look up numbers, weights, and other items that are unable to scan.
- Assist guests with locating merchandise, answering questions and/or concerns, and bagging their merchandise carefully as necessary.
