Title: Environmental Scientist (Remediation)

Reports to: Senior Project Manager

Location: Wall, NJ

Salary Range: $28-$38/hr, based on experience and qualifications

Candidate will assist with environmental field investigations and support the Project Team in the preparation of technical reports. The individual will contribute to project-related tasks associated with hazardous/non-hazardous waste site investigation, remediation, and other physical or natural-science based project work under the guidance of senior staff. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow in the environmental consulting field.

Exceptional interpersonal and writing skills are vital for success in this highly collaborative environment.

• Under the direct supervision of an LSRP, complete report writing including Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigation Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Action Reports.
• Under the direct supervision of a Project Manager, complete Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, Public Notice, Receptor Evaluations including well searches, and Electronic Deliverables for submittal to the NJDEP.
• Conduct fieldwork to complete site investigation, remedial investigation, and remedial action activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience working in the environmental field.
• Technical knowledge of the NJDEP Site Remediation Program and associated regulatory requirements.
• 40-Hour OSHA Training required.
• Technical writing skills are a must.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

This is a full-time position located at one of our Wall, NJ Office. The work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
