Position: Physical Security Specialist with Security Clearance
Location: Alcester

USmax is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to independently execute all physical security functions for the 89th Attack Squadron's SCIF (AF11-007) and associated facilities at Ellsworth AFB, SD. This position manages SCIF accreditation coordination, physical construction monitoring, alarm system testing and maintenance, visitor control, and liaison with ACC/SSO and DIA within a TS/SCI operational environment. Duties and Responsibilities
* Conduct security indoctrinations and debriefings on an as-needed basis

* Maintain and audit Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinated personnel security folders

* Process Interim SCI requests as required by mission needs

* Process and track unit members' foreign travel documentation and update DISS/JPAS accordingly

* Create and destroy Access Control Security (ACS) Badges for all SCI indoctrinations and debriefs

* Update and maintain the unit badge roster and Alarmed Facility Access Authorization (AFAA) MFR for Bldg. 1008

* Process DISS/JPAS visit requests for unit personnel traveling to other SCI facilities

* Draft, submit, and track security incident reports for all SCI-related items

* Train unit Special Security Representatives (SSRs) on security protocols and responsibilities

* Distribute, track, and maintain records of the annual SCI security awareness briefing/training; manage the unit's SCI security awareness program in coordination with SSRs

* Process and manage Security Information Files (SIF) and For-Cause discharge files for SCI-cleared individuals

* Update and maintain the unit's SCIF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Procedures (EAPs)

* Serve as primary liaison with Ellsworth AFB Security Offices regarding SCIF AF11-007 operations, including coordination with 89th ATKS Unit Security Managers, 28th Bomb Wing Security Forces Squadron, and AFOSI

* Execute the maintenance and disposal of SCI material IAW Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), DoD security manuals, AF regulations, and ACC/SSO guidance

* Facilitate and participate in internal and external inspections for SCIF AF11-007 and applicable subordinate SCIFs

* Draft and submit annual personnel security reports to ACC/SSO

* Maintain full compliance with ICD 704/SEADs for Personnel Security

* Prepare, compose, and distribute memorandums, reports, forms, and briefings formatted IAW AFH 33-337

* Serve as point of contact for personnel security inquiries; greet visitors, answer/route telephone inquiries

* Maintain paper and electronic filing systems IAW AFI 33-332

* Track suspense's and ensure required actions are completed within Government deadlines

Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year of experience working in a TS/SCI facility

* Minimum 1 year of dedicated experience in physical security (e.g., SCIF management, alarm systems, access control, visitor control)

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

* Hands-on experience with IDS/ADS alarm systems, X-09 locks, and cypher lock programming

* U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of physical security experience in a USAF, DoD, or Intelligence Community SCIF environment

* Experience coordinating SCIF accreditation/reaccreditation with ACC/SSO and DIA

* Familiarity with ICD 705, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), and TEMPEST requirements

* Experience executing and documenting alarm tests and physical security inspections

* Experience with DIA DAC-2A2 approval processes for SCIF modifications

* Prior experience managing alarm monitoring programs for multiple facilities

* SF-700/701/702 auditing and security container management experience

* Prior USAF military service or equivalent DoD civilian physical security experience

* CDSE Physical Security coursework or certification
Required Education
* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred but not required

* Relevant military training/certifications (e.g., USAF Security Forces, ICD 705 training, CDSE Physical Security coursework) may substitute for formal education

0730L-1630L, Monday through Friday

On-site at Ellsworth AFB, SD (no routine telework)

* Telework:
Occasional telework only during base shutdowns/inclement weather (approximately 2x/year);
Government-provided laptop with VPN

Local travel within 50-mile radius (not separately reimbursable); no anticipated TDY
