Position OverviewWe’re adding a HVAC Project Manager/ Estimator to our team. This will be a hands‑on HVAC leader to manage projects from bid through completion. This role blends estimating, project management, and field leadership ideal for someone who thrives both in the office and on‑site.
This is a growth-focused role with the opportunity to help build and shape our HVAC division.
What You’ll Do- Review plans, specs, and bid documents
- Perform takeoffs (equipment, duct, labor, materials)
- Build accurate estimates using cost data and vendor pricing
- Solicit/evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Identify risks, cost savings, and value engineering options
- Submit bids and track results
- Lead projects from kickoff through completion
- Coordinate with GCs, design teams, and internal staff
- Track budgets, schedules, and job progress
- Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes
- Supervise installers and apprentices
- Plan schedules, manpower, and workflow
- Track labor hours and productivity
- Enforce safety standards and company expectations
- Manage tools, materials, and equipment
- Train and develop team members
- Foreman or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems & installs
- Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings
- Estimating or project software experience
- Knowledge of local codes & OSHA standards
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication + leadership skills
- Split between office and field
- Active job site involvement
