As a Mitigation Technician, you'll be on the front lines of emergency response, providing water, fire, mold, storm, and specialty cleaning services that make a real difference for our customers. Respond to water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage emergencies. Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, cleaning, and restoration services. Set up, monitor, and maintain drying and restoration equipment. Document job progress using company software and mobile technology. Load, maintain, and organize company vehicles, equipment, and materials. Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management. Follow all SERVPRO procedures and safety standards.

Participate in rotating on-call schedules for emergency response.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to work rotating on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Construction, restoration, demolition, or general labor experience is preferred but not required. IICRC certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain). Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday. Work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, and basements.

Safely climb ladders and work at varying heights. Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when necessary. Safely operate company vehicles, equipment, and restoration tools.
