School Bus Driver

Responsibilities

Allegheny Transportation Services School Bus Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Key duties include performing pre‑trip inspections, conducting child checks after each route, and ensuring the vehicle meets all DOT regulations. The driver must be professional, manage student behavior effectively, and be punctual.

Candidates must pass a background check, a physical examination, and a drug screening. Qualified individuals will receive training, and eligible van drivers may receive CDL training provisions.

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum age 21+ years old
• Professional conduct and ability to manage student behavior
• Successful completion of background, physical, and drug screening
• Capability to work a flexible schedule
• Willingness to undergo training as required

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Hours:

20 – 30 per week
Shift options:
Evening (Monday to Friday), Morning shift, Split shift.
