Field Data Collector

The Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company established in 2017 in Europe.

We collect data in locations where automation is not possible. We capture features, create photos and videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to take on new challenges.

Project Objective

The goal of the project is to collect images of roads, main attractions, and public areas in EU countries. The project is conducted in cars equipped with 360-degree cameras mounted on the roof, capturing the vehicle's surroundings and storing these images on computers inside the vehicle. These data will later be used to improve one of the most popular online maps in the world.

Data collectors are assigned specific routes through public roads and areas, targeting business districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions, some areas will be visited multiple times to capture the best possible image quality. The project is expected to last between 3 and 6 months and cover various areas of data collection.

The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area well, understands traffic trends, and is highly responsible and reliable.

The work schedule for the project is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Due to weather-related downtimes, work on weekends is also possible.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license;
• Good driving skills and a clean driving record;
• A supervised private parking space for the company vehicle would be beneficial;
• Basic car knowledge would be beneficial;
• Enjoys driving within regular business hours;
• Available for at least 3 months;
• Excellent communication and reporting skills;
• Technologically savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and Whats App);
• The position requires a high level of responsibility.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
