Pennington County is seeking an Apprentice Highway Worker to help keep county roadways safe by performing maintenance on highways and bridges, operating heavy equipment, trucks and snow removal gear as needed.
The position requires one or more years of road construction/maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of equipment operation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a South Dakota Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within ninety days of hire.
