this is a growing immigration/criminal solo practice. This means you will get hands-on training from our attorney directly. Based on our reviews, this law firm is extremely selective in their cases and aggressive in representation.

• process all aspects of family-based immigration cases and manage a diverse caseload with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and balance competing demands.
• draft and write, including i-601a waivers, and draft responses to uscis; organize family-based packages (u visas, vawa, consular processing, cis adjustment of status packages).
• perform research and writing under the supervision of the attorney.
• assist with case management and document preparation to support successful outcomes.

• at least two years of experience processing family-based immigration cases.
• ability to manage a diverse caseload, multitask, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
• demonstrate the compassion required to handle immigration-related matters.
• proficiency in english and spanish (written and spoken).
• live near whittier ca.

• experience drafting i-601a waivers and responses to immigration authorities; experience organizing family-based packages (u visas, vawa, consular processing, cis adjustment of status).
• interest in transitioning from paralegal to law clerk; willingness to grow with a small practice.
