Laser Inspector – 2nd Shift

Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly
SummaryThe Laser Inspector will perform laser inspections in support of product conformance and generate the required inspection data packages. The role works with Customer Representatives (source inspectors) to present and verify conformance before delivery, and assists manufacturing in verifying assembly. The inspector contributes to product safety and overall conformity.
Responsibilities- Support AS procedures and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Generate inspection reports.
- Perform laser, mechanical, and visual inspections on product utilizing engineering data and electronic models.
- Present product and data packages to Customer source inspectors.
- Work with Production to support inspection schedules.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Understand how customer products are impacted in the event of failure.
- Detail‑oriented, extremely organized, excellent communication skills.
- Excellent blueprint/model interpretation skills.
- Working knowledge of customer requirements and specifications.
- Working knowledge of Master Cam and VERISURF software.
- Working knowledge of laser equipment utilizing VERISURF.
- Working knowledge of CATIA modeling software.
- Direct communication with internal customers.
- Trained on applicable changes and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping, and following instructions.
- High school graduate or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience inspecting machine parts and assemblies using laser technology and practices.
- 3+ years of experience using laser inspection.
- 3+ years of experience working with Customer Source Inspectors.
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Monday to Friday 5 pm – 5 am, Saturday as needed.
