Inspector

Location: South El Monte, CA
Pay: $21.50 - $40.50 per hour
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with overtime opportunities)

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Inspector to join our Quality team. This role is hands‑on and focused on dimensional inspections, first articles, and ensuring every part meets aerospace-level standards. You’ll work with both manual tools and advanced inspection equipment like CMMs and optical comparators.

• Perform dimensional inspections on machined and assembled products
• Use calipers, blade and depth micrometers, bore gages, optical comparators, and CMMs
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and planning documents
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and create reports per AS9102
• Conduct receiving, in‑process, and final inspections
• Inspect threads, bores, surface finishes, and overall part quality
• Document results, discrepancies, and communicate issues clearly
• Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
• Support quality improvement and R&D activities
• Use software tools including 1
  
  Factory and MAP

• 1+ years of hands‑on inspection experience (aerospace strongly preferred)
• Advanced understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Comfortable operating manual and DCC CMMs (Preferred)
• Familiarity with common inspection equipment and gauge usage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or equivalent experience (preferred)

• Able to stand, walk, reach, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Visual acuity for close inspection tasks
