Position: CNC Operator / CNC Set‑Up Technician

Hourly Salary: $24.00 - $28.00

• Program and operate the vertical CNC mill using Fusion/Icam, and write programs to meet job sequence and dimensions.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on the machine.
• Calculate and set machining controls (speed, feed, depth, angle of cut) and input or edit computerized machine control media.
• Facilitate work‑order paper flow in accordance with company standards.
• Inspect parts and perform quality checks.
• Conduct CNC and robot training as assigned.
• Change tooling and inserts, make tool offsets, and adjust work coordinates.
• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and vertical measuring machines.
• Prepare tools, fixturing, and machine tending as needed.
• Report to work on time and perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience with Mastercam, G‑code, and AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience setting up CNC machining centers.
• Proficient in Mastercam programming for vertical milling machines.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years programming on Mastercam for vertical milling machines.

• Work in a plant environment with varying temperatures, noise, water, dust, glass, paint, and odors.
• Regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear repetitively.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally crawl.
• Lift and move up to 35lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Need manual dexterity to handle glass parts, hand tools, and knives.
• Perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, and visually observing glass parts to distinguish colors.
