Job Location:

South Elgin, IL 60177

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day

• Must be able to handle different sizes of glass parts
• Must be able to seam parts of glass along a seaming belt
• Maintain cycle time on a pre-set production line
• Visually inspect and/or measure parts as necessary
• Report final production output along with defects
• Must be able to load and remove glass parts from the production line
• Must be able to work with water
• Pack finished goods into boxes
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8+ hours
• Must be able to report to work as scheduled and on time
• Other duties as assigned

• Three (3) months of related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to write basic communication and understand on-the-job work standards
• Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and/or small group setting
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

• Perform job duties in the plant environment exposed to different sizes of glass parts, noise, dirt, dust, odors, etc.
• Be able to work in a hot non-air-conditioned environment
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8+ hours
• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear repetitively
• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and/or stoop
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Requires manual dexterity to handle glass parts, hand tools and knives
• Tasks require lifting, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, visually observing plastic parts
