Registered Nurse; RN - Hospice

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice position in South Elgin, IL. Ongoing staff role. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts.

• Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in a hospice setting collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and individualized end‑of‑life care planning.
• Educate and support patients and families through the end‑of‑life journey, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and deeply cared for.
• Think critically, solve problems in real time, and maintain thorough, compliant EMR documentation.
• Work independently, while never alone.
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state you work.
• Two years RN experience; clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care (hospice experience preferred).
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend approximately 20% of your day driving to/from patient locations.
• Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment (includes medical and recreational marijuana).

The low end of the range includes salary and a first‑year success bonus. The high end is inclusive of productivity bonuses and additional shift work that is paid at a premium (e.g., after hours, weekends, on‑call). Compensation potential varies by market.
