Casco Industries is looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in South Elgin, IL.
This position is a key part of our sales and customer support team. The right person will work directly with wholesale customers, dealers, contractors, and internal departments to help manage quotes, orders, follow‑ups, product questions, and account activity.
Our business is built around strong customer service, clear communication, and dependable follow‑through. This role is not just an email‑only position. Strong phone skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of customer communication are important.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative. Casco has many moving parts, including customer service, sales support, quoting, product knowledge, production coordination, delivery scheduling, and dealer support. A strong CSR can gain exposure to several areas of the business and build a long‑term path within the company.
Initial training starts at $19 per hour. After 90 days, compensation will be reviewed based on how the candidate handles training, adapts to the role, learns our systems, and demonstrates the ability to manage customer communication and assigned responsibilities. Starting pay may be adjusted up to $22 per hour based on prior experience, skillset, and overall fit for the position.
Schedule- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Some Saturday hours may be required during busy seasons

Key Responsibilities- Taking customer calls and responding to emails
- Following up with customers on quotes, orders, and account activity
- Accurately entering and reviewing customer information in our quoting and order systems
- Preparing quotes for residential and commercial window and door projects
- Helping customers understand product options, order details, and project requirements
- Assisting customers face‑to‑face, by phone, email, and web conferencing
- Communicating with sales, production, delivery, and management
- Collaborating with internal departments to help ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Keeping accurate notes and staying on top of assigned accounts
- Supporting customer growth through consistent communication
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and actively supporting team goals
- Is comfortable calling customers directly
- Can manage multiple tasks without constant supervision
- Is organized, dependable, and professional
- Has a customer‑service mindset
- Can learn product information and internal systems
- Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told the next step
- Is comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Is willing to adapt, pitch in, and support different roles when needed

- Has solid computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in windows, doors, building materials, lumber yards, construction, or wholesale distribution is helpful, but not required for the right person
