Inventory Control Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Clerk to oversee the tracking, management, and coordination of furniture, décor, and accessories across multiple warehouses. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our design and staging teams have access to inventory in a timely and efficient manner. As a Contract to permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing items.

- Conduct routine inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Label, tag, and categorize inventory items systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval.

- Support staging activities and manage the return process, ensuring all items are handled with care.

- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate inventory requests.

- Ensure inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

- Assist in preparing inventory reports for management and other relevant teams.

- Implement best practices for inventory management to improve efficiency.

- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses to the appropriate teams. Requirements - Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.

- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and software.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.

- Knowledge of safety protocols for warehouse environments.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
