Position: Project Manager - Ground Up Restaurant Experience

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects, working with the project team, managing resources, budgets, and ensuring overall project success.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for project scope, team, resources, and overall success.
  • Lead pre‑construction activities including site surveys, subcontractor selection, and client proposals.
  • Coordinate construction phases, manage milestones, and maintain master schedules.
  • Develop and manage budgets, estimates, and cost‑to‑complete analyses.
  • Ensure safety compliance and adherence to the Health, Safety, and Environmental Program.
  • Prepare updates, weekly schedules, and reports for owners and executive management.
  • Handle subcontract agreements, change orders, permits, inspections, and employee time verification.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and enforce company procedures.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and support business development.

Education, Experience, and Skills
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
  • Degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of measurable achievements and leadership.
  • Pre‑construction experience: site surveys, subcontractor selection, client proposals.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and personnel management.
  • Experience in retail, fast‑casual, quick‑service dining, or hospitality sectors preferred.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Capability to perform cost‑to‑complete analysis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Sage 300 (Timberline), Plan Grid, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
