Department OverviewThe U.S. Federal Government Markets Division supplies world‑class communications solutions to the U.S. Federal Government, ensuring high‑quality products, systems, and services. The Federal Cybersecurity Team supports security compliance and services for U.S. Federal Government customers worldwide.
Job DescriptionThis position supports U.S. Federal customers worldwide. Applicants must be comfortable with a minimum of 50% travel (international and domestic). Candidates will work with customers to meet ongoing regulatory compliance and continuous monitoring requirements, blending technical execution with administrative coordination to meet contractual milestones and security standards.
Responsibilities- Tactfully and courteously interface with customers to build strong relationships.
- Coordinate activities to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Apply security updates, including patching, custom Group Policy Objects, and running scripts.
- Perform remediation and mitigation planning and implementation.
- Prepare documentation and artifacts for customers as required.
- Analyze and document events in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrate a self‑starter mindset, assuming responsibility and remaining adaptive, flexible, and resourceful in a results‑oriented environment.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently using strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including Windows and UNIX platforms.
- Solid experience with information technology systems, communication networks, and network security concepts.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of firewalls and router access control lists.
- Familiarity with DoD auditing and scanning techniques.
- Technical or cyber certifications (preferred):
Security+, Network+, CISM, etc. - Scripting experience is a plus.
- RF experience and/or knowledge is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; the company does not sponsor work permits.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following: cybersecurity, information systems, LMR, radio communications, Motorola equipment, wired/wireless communication systems, IT systems, telecommunications, public safety, engineering, networking equipment, IP networking, solutions architecture, ASTRO 25, P25, WAVE VoIP, or military experience.
