Wieland is hiring a Foundry Laborer. The Foundry Laborer will be responsible for daily manufacturing and production operations by performing a variety of manual and operational tasks. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment while assisting skilled operators and production teams as needed. This role is located at Techni-Cast in South Gate, CA and will be fully on-site.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.25 per hour to $19.25 per hour

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.

Responsibilities

Foundry Laborer Responsibilities:

* Assist with general production, material handling, and shop floor support activities

* Load, unload, move, and stage materials, parts, and finished products

* Perform basic cleaning, housekeeping, and organization of work areas

* Support machine operators and production personnel with setup, teardown, and routine tasks

* Conduct visual inspections of materials and finished products to ensure quality standards

* Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions

* Report on safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality problems to supervisors

* Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations

Foundry Laborer

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* Prior manufacturing or industrial experience a plus, but not required

* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

* Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork

* Reliable attendance and punctuality

Foundry Laborer

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and industrial equipment

Foundry Laborer Work Environment:

* Manufacturing and production facility

* May require working multiple shifts, overtime, or weekends based on business needs
