Saw Operator Machine Shop

Full Time | Weekly Pay | $22/hr.

Busy machine shop is looking for someone experienced with band saws (horizontal/vertical), cold saws, chop saws, or general metal cutting equipment
. If you’ve worked in a machine shop or fabrication environment, this is for you.

• Cut steel, aluminum & metals using band saws

• Read cut lists, job travelers, basic blueprints

• Measure materials (calipers, micrometers, tape measure)

• Select blades + adjust feed rates, tension & angles

• Perform basic maintenance (blade changes, lubrication, cleaning)

• Verify tolerances & quality

• Keep work area clean & safe

• Help with loading/unloading material

• 2+ years experience with band saws or metal cutting equipment

• Machine shop/fab shop experience preferred

• Able to read mechanical drawings

• Detail‑oriented & dependable

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Safety‑minded

• Mon–Fri | 7:00am-3:30pm

• Flexible to train 8:00am-4:30pm

• Overtime available when needed
