Here's what it takes to succeed with us.
Qualifications- Associate degree or technical school training preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2 years of related inspection or manufacturing experience
- Minimum 1200 hours of inspection experience required for Level II certification
- Aerospace material inspection experience required
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and specifications
- Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and measurement calculations
- Ability to write reports and communicate technical findings clearly
- Ultrasonic testing scopes and crystals
- Manipulators, bridge tanks, and immersion systems
- Surface roughness gauges
- Forklifts and overhead crane operation
- Perform ultrasonic inspections on fabricated parts and products to detect defects or discontinuities
- Review work orders, test procedures, specifications, and acceptance criteria prior to inspection
- Develop and prepare inspection techniques and scan plans
- Set up, calibrate, and operate ultrasonic testing equipment
- Conduct scanning using contact or immersion methods
- Identify and mark defective areas and document test results, procedures, and findings
- Evaluate inspection data and determine product acceptability
- Operate computerized inspection systems, including C-Scan interpretation
- Use cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment to move heavy components
- Prepare daily production and inspection reports, tracking hours and job activity
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards, company procedures, and quality requirements
Base pay range: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
