City of South Gate is seeking a Maintenance Helper for part-time, temporary work within public works and parks divisions. Under supervision, you will assist with painting prep, graffiti removal, and routine maintenance such as plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.
You’ll help repair streets, sidewalks, water systems and parks, operate basic tools, and keep records, while following safety rules. Requires ability to obtain a California Class C driver's license and adherence to at-will
