Security Officer Part Time Patrol Unit – Granby, MA

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour
Job Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, documenting concerns per site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with residential access control procedures, and report maintenance, lighting, and property concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support a professional residential environment by communicating with residents and/or management, following instructions, and reporting security‑related incidents, hazards, and policy violations.

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
