Diesel/CNG Mechanic
Job Summary:

Monday – Friday, second shift 11:00 am – 7:30 pm (no weekends).
Location:
repair/maintenance shop at the South Hadley, MA hauling site.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within standard labor repair times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and the community.
- Complete and document repair paperwork, parts usage, and repair times.
- Assist senior mechanics with project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam.
