What You'll DoAs an Automotive Service Technician, you will:

Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.

Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, suspension, steering, transmission, and other vehicle systems.

Complete scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and multi-point inspections.

Review repair orders and accurately document diagnostic findings and repairs performed.

Identify additional maintenance and repair opportunities and communicate recommendations through the service advisor.

Perform road tests as necessary to verify concerns and confirm repairs.

Maintain knowledge of manufacturer repair procedures, technical bulletins, recalls, and service updates.

Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Operate diagnostic equipment, lifts, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.

Protect customer vehicles and ensure quality workmanship on every repair.

Participate in manufacturer training, certification programs, and continuing education opportunities.

Support shop productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Preferred Experience Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Service Technician, or Auto Repair Technician.

ASE Certifications are preferred but not required.

Manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Experience performing maintenance, repairs, and vehicle diagnostics.

Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional attitude and strong communication skills.

Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and vehicle components as required.
