The Product Specialist at Deacon Jones Auto Group is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, understanding customer needs, and providing expert advice to facilitate the purchase of new cars. The role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales performance within the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the dealership.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in order to recommend suitable vehicle options.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all vehicle features, specifications, and benefits to effectively communicate these to customers.
Conduct test drives with customers, ensuring a safe and informative experience.
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and dealership goals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, financing options, and industry trends to provide customers with accurate information.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of vehicles for display and ensure the showroom is well-organized and welcoming.
Follow up with potential and existing customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Participate in training sessions and continuous learning opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in automotive sales or a related field.
Proven experience in customer service and client relationship management.
Experience in product demonstration and sales presentations.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of automotive products and industry trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
