Project & Management Officer; maritime projects

We are currently seeking a proactive and structured Project & Management Officer who can take responsibility for optimizing project management processes within complex shipbuilding projects. In this role, you will optimize project management processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and facilitate smooth communication across all project stakeholders.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Develop, implement, and improve standardized project and process management procedures.
• Support project monitoring activities, including schedules, budgets, performance indicators, and documentation.
• Prepare project plans, progress reports, and risk assessments for management.
• Act as a point of coordination between project managers, line managers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Quality and Risk teams to maintain standards, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, safety requirements, and internal procedures.
• Contribute to evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve process control, quality, and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, with at least 3 years of process or project management experience in complex manufacturing or shipbuilding environments.
• Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles and process optimization.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Speaking Dutch is a strong asset.
• Flexible to travel internationally when required.
• Strong analytical skills, stakeholder coordination abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement.
