Tarvos Talent is seeking a Staff Accountant for an exciting opportunity in the South Houston area.

- Newly created position driven by rapid company growth.
- Reports and works directly with the Financial Reporting Manager.
- Smaller, collaborative team with frequent interaction with Senior Management.
- Prepare journal entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end close
- Support job cost / WIP accounting
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of industry accounting experience
- Strong GAAP foundation and ERP experience
- Construction or job cost accounting
