JOB SUMMARY:

As a CNC Mill Machinist at USA Industries, you will assume a pivotal role in the manufacturing process, dedicated to ensuring the precision and quality of machined parts through the operation of CNC milling machines. This dynamic position demands not only the skilled execution of milling tasks but also a steadfast commitment to maintaining stringent quality and safety standards throughout the production process.

You must operate CNC milling machines with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to product dimensions and tolerances specified in engineering drawings. You will also collaborate closely with experienced operators to undertake machine setups, adjustments, and comprehensive product inspections. This collaborative and team-oriented approach will be instrumental in achieving production goals and ensuring the highest standards of quality.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Set up, configure, and operate CNC milling machines.
  • Load materials into the machine and secure them properly.
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools based on job requirements and specific materials.
  • Monitor tool wear and make tool changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
  • Input program codes and adjust as necessary to ensure accurate machining.
  • Study drawings, schematics, engineering information, or sample parts to determine product dimensions and tolerances, as well as the best method and sequence of operations needed for fabrication.
  • Collaborate with QC, engineering, and production on a daily basis.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure schedule and delivery deadlines are met.
