Job SummaryIndividual will perform a variety of reception and clerical duties in a professional mental health care setting, including client scheduling and check-in, online document processing, and answering phones. Must be sensitive to, and be able to interface effectively with, individuals in distress. Must abide by strict confidentiality guidelines. Individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, be punctual, efficient, and detail-oriented.
Required Qualifications- High school graduate.
- Must NOT be a current student at WSU.
- One year of related work experience.
- Computer experience with ability to learn relevant scheduling program.
- Some experience with university environments and processes.
- Past experience working in a medical or mental health setting.
- Competency with creation of documents in Word, Excel, and Google Docs.

Physical RequirementsSedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.
Visual Acuity RequirementsIncluding color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
ConditionsThe worker will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
